During Ramadan, something wonderful happens, the gates of Heaven are open wide.
But what does this mean, and how can we explain this to our children?
The Gates of Heaven are Open?
God’s blessings are all around us during Ramadan, even more than usual. It’s as if the gates to goodness are wide open, just waiting for us to step through.
The Devils are Chained!?
In the special month of Ramadan, the devils are chained, meaning they are restrained and unable to spread mischief as they normally do. This gives us the opportunity to do extra good and focus on what truly matters, with fewer distractions. ⛓
But if the devils are locked up, why do bad things still happen? 🤔
Let’s break it down:
Understanding Hierarchy
While the high-ranking devil commanders are restrained, their junior foot soldiers are still out and about.😡 Plus, people still choose to make poor choices, leading to bad things happening.
Choosing Goodness
With the biggest and baddest devils restrained, their influence weakens. This means fewer distractions and more opportunities to do good.
Embracing the Opportunity
During Ramadan, let’s make the most of this opportunity by embracing the goodness and strengthening ourselves, so when the evil mischief-makers are out in full force, we’ll be better prepared to stay on track and resist their distractions.
